Let’s Talk About Money — My Services & Pricing Explained
Talking about money shouldn’t feel weird—especially when it comes to how I get paid. Below is a simple breakdown of the ways we can work together.
After our (free) first meeting, I’ll have a better feel for your situation and can walk you through which option might be the best fit. There’s no expectation to move forward—just a chance for us to talk, explore your goals, and give you more clarity around your finances.
Ongoing Advisory Relationship
If, after our initial consultation, you need assistance managing your investment portfolio—whether in seeking to generate income, preserve assets, or achieve growth—you may benefit from an ongoing advisory relationship. This option is ideal for those who prefer to have a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional on retainer for support with other financial matters, such as estate planning, Medicare planning, Social Security planning, pension planning, and more. Below is the fee schedule for wealth management services:
Annual Advisory Fee Schedule based on Assets Under Management:
$250,000 - $499,999: 1.25%
$500,000 - $749,999: 1.23%
$750,000 - $1,249,999: 1.18%
$1,250,000 - $4,999,999: 1.16%
$5,000,000 - $24,999,999: 1.13%
One-Time Financial Planning Consultation
If you prefer a one-time, in-depth consultation with a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional to address your financial questions or concerns, this option may be right for you. It is suitable for those seeking a second opinion on financial matters such as employee benefit selection (health, disability, life insurance), retirement readiness, saving for a child's education, estate planning, debt repayment strategies, and more. After the consultation, it will be your responsibility to implement the advice provided.
This consultation lasts up to one hour, with a fee of $250. The same fee applies regardless of whether the session lasts the full hour.
Project-Based Planning Option
Need help with a specific financial decision? This one-time planning engagement is ideal if you're navigating retirement, Social Security, Medicare, long-term care, estate planning—or any other financial decision or planning need. You’ll get clear recommendations and hands-on help—like submitting online forms, faxing paperwork, or mailing what’s needed to move things forward.
Starting at $750, with final pricing based on complexity. You’ll get a quote before we begin—and here’s the twist: you don’t pay until the project is complete.
It’s a bit of an honor system… so if you disappear on the invoice, well, you’ll just have to live with yourself.
Monthly Retainer Financial Planning
This option is designed for individuals who are confident managing parts of their financial life — but don’t want to do it alone. Many clients don’t need full investment management. What they need is ongoing access to a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional to help them think through decisions, avoid costly mistakes, and connect the dots across their entire financial picture.
This retainer works especially well for do-it-yourself investors, high-income earners, and business owners who want professional guidance — without handing over control of their accounts.

How it works
You stay in control. I provide guidance, clarity, and an experienced second opinion — helping you make smarter decisions across investments, taxes, benefits, and business planning.
Cost = $300 per month
Ongoing access, transparent pricing, and no long-term commitment.
This retainer is ideal for people who want a CFP on call — someone who understands their full financial picture and can step in whenever important decisions arise.
Transactional (Commission-Based)
If you are primarily interested in purchasing a financial product with the guidance of a professional, this option may be a good fit. I will help you find an investment or insurance product that aligns with your needs, and I will be compensated once for the purchase. This is ideal for those who need assistance in establishing an investment plan or insurance policy without requiring an ongoing relationship with a financial professional.
